gravitypope celebrated its 25th anniversary in fall 2015 as one of Canada’s most iconic shoe stores. Publicity Room helped celebrate this milestone across the country with 15 media placements including FASHION Magazine, Breakfast Television Calgary, The Edmonton Journal, Calgary Herald and Avenue Magazine Calgary. PARK is a non-profit organization that mentors and supports Alberta’s emerging fashion designers. We worked closely with the team at PARK on their Edmonton launch event, PARKSHOW Edmonton, assisting with media representation and assistance. We also helped coordinate national media coverage for PARK EXPO, a first-of-its-kind fashion trade show.

Bringing together two brands with major influence, we coordinated a creative partnership between Canadian retail icon, Simons, and bespoke footwear brand, Poppy Barley. The result was a month-long Poppy Barley pop-up inside Simons’ West Edmonton Mall location. The collaboration helped Simons connect and show support for a local fashion startup with a well established and loyal local following while providing lucrative exposure and sales opportunity for Poppy Barley.

Encouraging the message of sustainability in fashion, we partnered with Berg+Betts to create the online campaign, Time for Change. Influencers shared professionally styled photos of a Berg+Betts timepiece with a personal caption including a small commitment for sustainable change.

Pura Botanicals is an eco-conscious apothecary and natural perfumery raising awareness for non-toxic beauty and the importance of self-care. We coordinated various influencer engagements with Pura and landed a special full page piece in one of Edmonton’s highest circulated and most read publications.

Syncrude presents Fashion with Compassion is an annual fundraising event in support of Sorrentino’s Compassion House. Publicity Room partnered with the Compassion House team to garner & coordinate media leading up to the event, increase awareness through social media, and provide live coverage of the event online. This event sold out, garnered major media coverage and was trending on Twitter across Canada.

Paris Jewellers is an Edmonton based, national jewelry brand. We worked alongside the marketing team at Paris Jewellers to craft a new narrative, with their employees at the forefront. The new concept refreshed the Paris brand, leaving behind the outdated catalogues of their past by humanizing the company through the stories of their people. We helped manage the photo shoot, the creative team, concept and wardrobe styling for this campaign.

WATCH IT! is the leading authorized retailer of watches & sunglasses in Canada. Publicity Room provided creative direction, wardrobe styling, and on set assistance during the campaign photo shoot. The photography from this campaign was used for in-store signage, print editorial, Watch IT! e-commerce and social media.

Sweet {Jolie} is a local women’s boutique empowering women to look and feel their very best. We had the pleasure of working alongside Sweet {Jolie} for an online campaign that celebrated self love in support of a local charity. This campaign captured attention from local media and coverage was syndicated across the province.
